As the Developer Community Manager - you will be responsible for all aspects of Synadia’s rapidly growing global user community. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker and collaborative self-starter who loves engaging with technology innovators (e.g. architects, developers and our technology & solution partners ). Ideally, you are familiar with open source technology and communities, and how they work.

A strong candidate for this role will be able to:

• Collaborate with Synadia and the community of users to create a compelling community experience
• Work closely with Synadia internal teams to define a vision and strategy for growing and retaining the community
• Engage daily with the growing Synadia user community in multiple channels (e.g. Slack, Forums, Reddit, etc.)
• Assess Synadia content and assets to identify gaps, opportunities, and make content/asset recommendations to improve the experience for members and meet company objectives
• Carry out sensitive community functions including moderating content, answering member questions, setting up private groups, and building trusted relationships with groups and individual participants
• Monitor and participate in other communities where Synadia and its technologies are discussed or used by members
• Identify, curate and develop influencer and thought leadership content
• Treat the community as your “product” — prioritize improvements and develop timelines and deliverables to drive continuous community improvement
• Analyze usage to identify effective engagement approaches by delivering topics, discussions, gamification, features, and content
• Ensure Synadia is represented in relevant developer networks
• Manage and grow user community social channels
• Develop creative approaches to engagement and curate engaging developer content
